The fact that they have missed one or the other musical trend of the last few years is just as clear to the guys of "Midge's Pocket" as their common love for Americana-music. For it is there, in the swamps of the blues, the deserts of country and the merciless and fun-loving light-heartedness of rock music, that the four draw their inspiration, only to shout out their own musical "Hello!" to the world all the louder afterwards. And so "Midge's Pocket" deliberately insist on not reinventing any wheels, but rather rely on proven old-school ingredients such as three-part vocals, blood-authentic songwriting, a live performance that sounds like the studio record and the effortless spirit of the Rock & Roll of the 70s.
